Loving-kindness Mantra
I invited all of type 1 diabetic speakers on the podcast to share in a personal voice memo their vision and wish for 2021 by keeping those questions in mind:
✨ What is your wish for the world for 2021?
✨ Which world would you like to live in?
At the end of the episode, I also share a loving-kindness mantra I use in my daily meditation practise. It helps me to foster harmony within me and the people I am with. I deeply believe, we need to BE the change we want to see in world. Literally BE. Start with yourself, start with this loving-kindess mantra.
You can do this anytime and anywhere. I usually put my hands into prayer position infront of my heart and repeat quietly or in silence the following sentences:
💫
“May I be happy.
May I be healthy.
May I feel safe.
May I live your life with ease.“
💫
First you recite for yourself saying “may I…”. Then you repeat it 3 more times. Each time you do, you visualise a different person:
💫
“May you be happy.
May you be healthy.
May you feel safe.
May you live your life with ease.“
And instead of “I” you say, “may YOU…”:
💫
1. one person you love
2. one person you don’t love
3. one person you have never met
