Who is Paul?
Paul Vugteveen is a type 1 diabetic from the US, who loves running to manage his diabetes. Combining his need to run with his day job, he started a campaign called “outrun the homelessness” to disrupt intergenerational poverty in his region. He challenges the dominant idea that poverty is a moral position and believes housing is a human right. He let’s us reflect on the racist and sexist structures that make correlation exist with those issues in the first place.
“I am not here for someone elses inspiration.”

He says: “I am not hear for someone else’s inspiration”. He talks about the betrayal people with disabilities can face and what this definition means exactly. Tune into the episode to hear the full story!
